round dance for three couples who stand in a ring holding hands.

Rings
8--------------(a)
Rings: All side-step in a ring anticlockwise, finishing with two short
threes. Side-step clockwise, finishing as before.
-----------------B. Body
16-------------(b) Sides: Partneers side-step past each other, the
men passing behind, finishing with two short threes. Side-step back to place,
the men dancing in front, and finish as before. The men now do a similar
movement woith the woman on their left, the woman passing behind when going
right, and in front when returning.
8--------------(b) Link arms: Partners link right arms and dance a full
turn clockwise[2 bars]; each man then links left arm with the woman on
left of original position, and turns anticlockwise [2 bars]. Repeat to
finish in original position [4 bars].
8-------------- (c) Interlace: Partners face each other and pas, with
promenade step, right shoulder to right; on around circle passing alternately on
either side as in any chain movement, except that the hands are not taken.
16------------- (d) Advance and retire: All join hands in a ring and
advance towards the center. All retire and advance again, but on retiring,
release non-partners' hands and go into position for C..

16------------- (a) Figure of eight: With promenade step, couple 1
advance towards couple 2 while couple 3 stand idle. THe woman oc couple 1 passes
between the other pair, followed by the man; but while the womand makes a figure
of 8 by passing round the woman and then the man, the man of couple 1 passes
round the man and then the woman. This leaves couple 1 on the inside of couple 2
and they join hands in a ring. All four side-step clockwise, finishing with two
short threes and the partners take both hands and swing back to places.
16------------- (b) Repeat: (a) is then danced by couple 2, who pass
through and dance with couple 3 while couple 1 stand idle.
16------------- (c) Repeat: (a) is then danced by couple 3, who pass
through and dance with couple 1 while couple 2 stand idle.

16------------- (a) Right and left chain: Couples 1 and 2 now perform
the right and left chain. Each mand gives right hand to opposite woman and both
move forward in a semi-circle, men clockwise and women anticlockwise. Continue
to meet partner with left hand then opposite woman again with right hand and on
to own partner, with left hand to finish in position, thus completing the chain.
Both couples then dance complete circle around.
16------------- (b) Repeat: Couples 2 and 3 dance (a).
